A combination of the above
Anyone can volunteer during the event to lead a workshop by adding it to the schedule, but we encourage folks to plan ahead. If we receive your workshop info ahead of time we will include it in the published schedule grid. If you like to geek out about it, here's a guide to planning singing gatherings.
Once you're registered we will email you a link to the schedule where you can add your workshop title to an open space on the grid! We'll also send you a form asking for details like this:
Workshop Description
What main idea or skill can attendees expect to get out of the workshop? What form will it take: a discussion, a song session, a question-and-answer session, a skill-building workshop, a lecture, a concert, or something else?
Does this workshop have a skill level?
Is it appropriate for beginners? Should attendees have specific skills or some level of subject expertise?
What category does your workshop fit best in?
skill teaching/practice
singing session
presentation
discussion
Should attendees bring anything with them such as
a song to share with the group, and instrument, recording device, or pen and paper?
Do you have any specific space/room requirements for your workshop?
carpeted/uncarpeted floor, whiteboard, larger room, etc.
Would you be willing to work with someone else to lead this workshop?
We'd get in touch w/ you if someone else requests a buddy or if your theme is very similar to another workshop.
