2025 COVID-19 Policy

To keep our community as safe as possible, we require attendees one year of age and older to have received a Covid-19 shot September of 2024 or later. If you have a medical or non-medical reason that you can't receive a shot, please send email to [email protected] and we will grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
The week prior to the event, we recommend masking at indoor social gatherings and in public places to minimize your exposure. We will also require proof of a negative antigen test taken on Friday, March 28th prior to arriving. If you can access a PCR test at low or no cost, please do, otherwise a rapid antigen test will be fine as well. Please send us a photo of your negative test or be ready to present it when you arrive. We’ll also ask everyone to re-test on Saturday. Please bring your own antigen test to camp for Saturday re-testing; we will not have enough antigen tests for everyone. Should someone test positive, they will be asked to leave camp right away. If they rode in a car unmasked with others, those in the carpool may be asked to leave as well. If needed, we will provide nearby housing for someone in isolation if they cannot get all the way home without their carpool buddies.
Masks will be welcome but optional at the event. We know that masks can interfere with our enjoyment of singing; they also make both the wearer and others around them safer. Please use your best judgement about whether to wear a mask, and be accommodating to others who are more cautious than you.
If you or a member of your household feel sick or test positive in the week leading up to the event, please reach out to us ASAP to discuss options. If you have new and unexplained respiratory symptoms in the week before the event, we will ask you to stay home from the event, even if you test negative for covid. If you stay home due to respiratory symptoms, we will refund your camp fee.

2025 Guidelines on non-Covid Communicable Illness
We want to minimize the spread of illness at camp, but recognize that many people spend a lot of time being a little sick around this time of year. Here are some more detailed guidelines on when we’re happy for you to come (and probably mask) and when we’d like you to stay home, but we encourage you to email us at [email protected] if you are in any of these situations. We don’t want people coming who are likely to spread disease, but we also don’t want mildly sick people to stay home when they could have come!
Guidelines for adults:
If you get seriously sick in the week before the event (positive covid or flu test, fever above 101 at any point, or are throwing up), we will ask you to stay home until you are fully recovered from your illness.
If you have some symptoms, but none of the above, and all of the following are true, please email us at [email protected]. You can probably come, but we’ll ask you to mask as much as possible until you’re fully recovered, and we may adjust your housing assignment:
If you know yourself to have seasonal allergies, we trust you to distinguish seasonal allergy symptoms from communicable sickness.
If a member of your household has a positive covid or flu test leading up to the event, but you are still fine, please email at [email protected] to discuss options.
Guidelines for children 12 and under
We know that children can also spread disease, but we also know that children are sick more often and usually bounce back more quickly than adults. Here are some guidelines specifically for children:
Please note: If you stay home due to respiratory symptoms, we will refund your camp fee.
